Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports at the age of 14. She was trained in boxing, kickboxing wrestling, and BJJ. She made her amateur debut at age 18 at WCFC against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd was able to win three fights within a row in Ultimate Reno Combat. All her opponents had been defeated in the first few minutes. In WCFC Ladd was able to defeat Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous vote. Aspen beat Silvia Babaeghian, Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 before taking on Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia was defeated by Aspen with a majority vote. This put a stain on the record of Ladd's amateur. Ladd recovered from the loss and defeated Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to take her record to 8-1. Aspen signed her contract with Invicta FC in 2015 to begin her career in professional boxing. Invicta Fc 11 she dominated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the fight in the first round via TKO. Invicta 16 saw her go from Bantamweight to her battle with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen used her wrestling expertise to take out McGill via TKO in the third round (elbows & punches). Aspen continued to fight Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 with a weight that was 138.1lb. Ladd was not able make the weight, however, Aspen was victorious and defeated Hoy with a TKO. Invicta FC, 21 was her last fight for promotion. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks prevailed by a majority vote. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to make her debut. She faced Linalansberg during UFC Fight Night 118. She dominated Lina with a pound and grind to her to the ground, gaining the TKO in the second round. Ladd remained in the lead as she picked up another victory over Tonya Avinger at UFC 229 with her next bout. Ladd was able to defeat Evinger in the very first round and earned a reward for the performance of the evening. The first big fight she fought in was with her next bout at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos vs. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in the Invicta FC rematch. Both fighters put up an intense battle that concluded with Ladd triumphing via a unanimous decision and both fighters getting their Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd's winning streak with just 16 seconds. Then she bounced back and defeated Yana Kunitskaya after the third round at UFC in ESPN 7. Her most recent bout for the UFC she fought Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 in a rematch fight. The fight was lost by unanimous vote.
